Technical Operator

We currently have exciting opportunities for Technical Operators to join our Production team based in Telford, Shropshire.

The role:
Operating multiple packaging machines, including 
-Reel and product changes,
-Making minor mechanical adjustments 
-Completing documentation correctly and accurately 
-Quality checks
-Machine cleaning processes
-Making up boxes from lay flat cardboard sheets and 
-Maintaining good housekeeping, hygiene and health and safety standards

The person:
- Experience of working in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable and committed team player
- Good standards of numeracy, literacy and communication
- Ability to operate independently
- Excellent attention to detail 
- Determination to meet deadlines and achieve targets

We have openings at our site in Hortonwood with various shift patterns available including alternating early/late dayshifts and permanent nightshift.  These are full-time, permanent positions but there is some scope for flexible working and part-time hours which can be discussed with individual applicants.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package with operator pay rates starting at £12.00 per hour.  Full training will be given and you will have the opportunity to further increase your earnings potential as you expand your skills and capabilities.
