Our Group


In 1998, Südzucker AG laid the foundation for today‘s PortionPack Group with Van Oordt and HELLMA Germany, two of the leading companies in the portion pack segment within their respective countries. Van Oordt’s roots date back to as early as 1734, refining sugar by trade, before eventually pioneering the launch of portioned sugar packs in The Netherlands in the 20th Century.

Today, the PortionPack Group has more than 800 employees and has developed into the European market leader for portion packing, made possible through continuous innovation, industry experience and quality service. The PortionPack Group has an extensive portfolio of food and non-food items and has been offering needs-based solutions for customers in the out-of-home market for many years, as well as efficient packaging solutions for food manufacturers and retailers.

Overall, the PortionPack Group now manufacture more than 14 billion individual portions annually, utilising state-of-the-art machinery and innovative in-house graphic facilities in each manufacturing location in order to consistently provide customers with the very best in portioned food.

The Group currently consists of seven companies with locations in the following countries and territories:
