This Christmas we decided to support Crisis, the national charity for homeless people, and were proud to supply a selection of portions to be used at shelters over the festive period. We sent a range including sauces, salt & pepper and some delicious hot chocolate sachets, a small donation for this incredibly worthwhile cause. We received this message from Crisis:
Your kind donation of condiments and hot chocolate sachets arrived safely at our Bermondsey warehouse.
Thank you so much on behalf of Crisis and our homeless guests this winter, for making Crisis at Christmas possible again this year.
I sincerely appreciate the support and effort you both put in to facilitating your donation.
I commissioned the following poem by our Crisis poet in residence, Stefan, who wrote the ‘Everybody in’
“I'd like to thank you this Christmas for you have filled it with cheer,
You've stuffed tummies with food, you've paused all the fear.
No thought for great praise no need for esteem,
Your endless selfless giving made this job my dream.
A great 2020 to you and those you hold dear
I look forward to talking same time next year”.
It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you towards ending homelessness.
You have my sincere gratitude and I wish you the very best.
Very good wishes
